He earned his B.A. with honors from the University of Georgia and his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he was a Dean’s Scholar. He is a member of the Georgia and South Carolina Bar Associations and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and is eligible to practice in 39 additional states after passing the Uniform Bar Exam.
Mr. Groves worked at Subin & Associates, LLC, one of the largest injury and trial law firms in New York City, and in the Public Defender’s Office in Charleston, South Carolina. He also has experience working in the District Attorney’s Office in Cherokee County, Georgia.
Mr. Groves is a native of North Georgia, and is an active member of the Shepherd Center Junior Committee, the Benedict’s Society of Atlanta, and the Atlanta Young Alumni of University of Georgia organization. He enjoys travel, art, and music, as well as numerous outdoorsman and recreational sports.
